Science Fiction Convention with Fantasy programming

BayCon is the San Francisco Bay Area's longest running science fiction and fantasy convention. Now in its 38th year, this year's convention will be held from May 22 - May 25 in San Mateo, CA. BayCon draws many attendees from throughout California and also as far away as Oregon, Washington, and Arizona.

BayCon's programming concentrates on science fiction and fantasy literature and media. We have many scheduled events and programming, as well as additional fixed functions, such as our Maker's Workshop, Convention Hospitality Suite, Masquerade, and Dealers Room and Art Show.
