Loscon 49 is a gathering of writers and fans of all ages, with common interests in Fantasy, Science Fiction, Cosplay, Film, Art and Music. Held over Thanksgiving weekend (November 24-26, 2023). A presentation of the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society (LASFS), the world's oldest continuously active science fiction and fantasy club,calling to order a meeting of the membership every Thursday night, since its founding on Oct. 27, 1934.
