Science Fiction Convention with Fantasy programming

Shamrokon is a special one-off event that has been selected to host the 2014 ESFS Eurocon. The idea for the convention came about at the 2010 Worldcon in Australia, when our Chairperson realised that there was a good opportunity to have a complementary event either the week before or the week after the proposed London Worldcon. After we started talking about it, we thought it would be a good idea to run it the week after, and give those running the proposed Worldcon a chance to enjoy a convention as well.
