Science Fiction Convention with Fantasy programming

Capricon 36 celebrates all the best of the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres, this year with a focus on storytelling. We will explore all the various ways a story can be told. During the day, members of the convention attend programming panels on a variety of topics: books, movies, television, anime, dance, puppets, gaming, science, space exploration... there's something for everyone! We also have an art show, anime room, children and teen programming, a dance, coffee cafe, gaming events, filk concerts, author readings and autograph sessions, and several large special events, including a childrens jet pack parade and Olympiad. And more! In the evening, many of our members open their rooms to host open parties for all the other members alongside evening programming for all ages. Guests include Scott Lynch, Eric Wilkerson, Stacey Gordon and more.
